٢٥٢٨٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا مروان بن معاوية عن صبيح مولى بني مروان عن مكحول، قال: سمعته يقول: في الرهصة: بسم اللَّه (اللهم) (١) أنت (الواقي) (٢) (وأنت الباقي) (٣) وأنت الشافي، قال: ثم يعقد (٤) (خيطًا) (٥) فيه (حديد أو شعر) (٦) ثم يربط به الرهصة. [تم كتاب الطب] (٧)
It is narrated about Hazrat Makhool, the narrator says that I heard him saying that regarding the wound of a horse’s hoof, he used to say: “I begin in the name of Allah. O Allah! You are the Protector. And You alone are Everlasting. And You alone are the Healer.” The narrator says: Then he would tie a knot in a thread in which there was iron or hair, and with that he would bind the wound of the hoof.
