Hadith 2526
٢٥٢٦ - حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن مسعر عن يزيد الفقير قال: كان ابن عمر ينقص التكبير في الصلاة (١). ⦗٣٤⦘ - قال مسعر: إذا انحط بعد الركوع (للسجود لم) (٢) يكبر، فإذا أراد أن يسجد الثانية لم يكبر
Hazrat Yazid al-Faqir narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to reduce the number of takbirs in prayer. Hazrat Mas'ar states that when he would go from bowing (ruku) to prostration (sajdah), he would not say the takbir. And when he would proceed to perform the second prostration, even then he would not say the takbir.
