Hadith 25217
٢٥٢١٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن نمير عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن عائشة أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال: " (الحمى) (١) من فيح جهنم فأبردوها بالماء" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fever is from the heat of Hell, so cool it with water."
