Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

25142 - Az-Zuhri said: "This is from knowledge, (he washes) that which he has soiled." He said: A cup of water is brought, and he puts his hand into the cup, rinses his mouth and spits it into the cup, ⦗169⦘ and washes his face in the cup, then (he pours) with his left hand onto his right palm, then with his right hand onto his left palm, and puts his (left) hand into the cup and pours onto the elbow of his right hand [وبيده اليمنى على مرفق يده اليسرى، ثم يغسل قدمه اليمنى ثم يغسل يده اليمنى] (6), then washes his (left foot), then (he puts) (his) (right) hand in and washes the knees, and takes the inner part of his waist wrapper and pours a single pour on his head, and does not (leave) the cup until he is finished.
