Hadith 25027
٢٥٠٢٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا خالد بن مخلد عن ابن مسهر عن هشام عن أبيه عن أسماء بنت أبي بكر أنها أتت النبي ﷺ بابن الزبير حين وضعته، وطلبوا تمرة (حتى وجدوها) (١)، فحنكوه بها (٢)، (فكان) (٣) أول شيء دخل بطنَه ريقُ رسول اللَّه ﷺ (٤) (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma bint Abi Bakr that she brought Ibn Zubair to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When Hazrat Asma presented him after his birth... And the companions searched for dates until they found some, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) chewed the dates and gave them to Ibn Zubair. Thus, the first thing that entered Hazrat Ibn Zubair's stomach was the blessed saliva of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
