Hadith 24913
٢٤٩١٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن علية عن أيوب عن محمد أن رجلا ساوم رجلا بثوب فقال رجل: أبيعك مثله بكذا وكذا، فباعه منه، ثم انطلق إلى صاحب الثوب فاشتراه منه، ثم أتاه به فأبى أن يقبله، فخاصمه إلى شريح فقال: لا (تجد) (١) (شيئا) (٢) أشبه به منه، (فأجازه) (٣) عليه.
It is narrated from Muhammad that a man bargained with another man over the price of a cloth. That man said, "I will sell you a cloth like this for such and such price." Then he made a sale with him and went to the cloth seller, bought the cloth from him, and when he returned, the buyer refused to take the cloth. They took their dispute to Hazrat Shurayh. Hazrat Shurayh said: "We do not find anything more similar to this than its likeness," and then he enforced the sale upon him.
