Hadith 24773
٢٤٧٧٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن أبي إسحاق عن (١) العالية (قالت) (٢): كنت (جالسة) (٣) عند عائشة، فأتتها امرأة فقالت: يا أم المؤمنين! إني وجدت شاة ضالة فكيف تأمريني [أن أصنع بها؟ قالت: عرفي واعلفي و (احلبي) (٤)، ثم عادت فسألتها (فقالت) (٥): تأمريني أن] (٦) آمرك أن تبيعيها أو ⦗٤٩⦘ تذبحيها، فليس ذلك لك (٧).
Hazrat Alia narrates that I was sitting in the service of Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) when a woman came and said, "O Mother of the Believers! I have found a lost goat. What do you command me to do with it?" Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) replied: "Announce it, feed it, and use its milk." Then, after some time, the woman came again and inquired. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "Do you want me to permit you to sell it or slaughter it?" Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "This matter (action) is not permissible for you."
