Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Mujahid that a man sent a pouch of dinars to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), on which it was written that this is for Ummul Momineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). When the people approached Madinah, a calamity descended upon them from the sky and the pouch was lost. Then those people came to Madinah, and that man had seen the writing. Then he made another pouch like those dinars, wrote the same thing on it, and brought that writing and pouch to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). Later, some people passed by that place, they found the pouch there on which it was written, and they brought that pouch to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). She sent those dinars to the first man and said to him: Tell me about these dinars. He replied: The whole matter is written in the document. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Tell me the truth. Then he told the true story. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Do you want to feed me something that is not lawful for me?
