Hazrat Umar narrates that I asked Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding two men who are partners. One of them paid the entire price, then both of them came to the city, and they sold a heap of wheat and earned a profit, and one heap remained. Then the one who had paid the price said to his companion, "If you wish, pay the price for what remains and remain in your partnership, and if you wish, withdraw from it and its profit, and I will absolve you." He replied: "This is not permissible for him." Then I asked Hazrat Qasim about the same matter; he also replied in the same way.
