Hadith 24669
٢٤٦٦٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معتمر عن أبيه عن مغيرة (عن إبراهيم) (١) والشعبي في رجل (غر بولد زنية) (٢) في (قسمة) (٣) (٤) (فأعتقه) (٥)، ثم علم بعد ⦗١٨⦘ ذلك، (قالا) (٦): (جاز) (٧) عتقه، ويعتق من مال الذي غره، والولاء له.
Ibrahim and Hazrat Sha’bi (may Allah have mercy on them) state regarding the person who, by deception, received a child born of adultery. If he set him free and later found out that he was a child born of adultery, they replied that the emancipation will take effect, and the one who committed the deception will bear the cost from his wealth, and the right of allegiance (wala’) will belong to him.
