في (الرجل) (يدعى) على أبيه الدينA Claim of Debt Against a Person’s Father
Hadith 24649
٢٤٦٤٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن الشعبي قال: كان شريح يُحلّف (البتة) (١) في الرجل (يُدّعي) (٢) على أبيه (الدين) (٣)، فإن حلف وإلا ⦗١١⦘ أخذه منه، ويكون لأبيك على إنسان دين يدعيه (فتقيم) (٤) البينة، فإن (حلفت) (٥) مع بينتك وإلا لم (يعطك) (٦).
Hazrat Shurayh made the man swear an oath when a claim of debt was made against his father; so if he swears an oath, otherwise it will be taken from him. And for your father, there is a debt upon a person which is claimed from him, so you will establish a witness; so if he swears an oath along with your testimony, otherwise it will not be given.
