Hadith 24529
٢٤٥٢٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان: لو شهد رجلان على رجل أنه طلق امرأته ثم رجعا عن شهادتهما، قال: الطلاق باق، إن لم يكن ⦗٥٣١⦘ (دخل) (١) بها (رجع) (٢) الزوج (عليهما) (٣) بنصف الصداق، وإن كان قد دخل بها فلا شيء عليهما -يعني من الصداق.
It is narrated from Hazrat Sufyan that if two persons testify against someone that he has divorced his wife, and then both of them retract their testimony, he said: If the husband had not consummated the marriage, the divorce will remain effective and the husband will claim half of the dower from those witnesses. And if the husband had consummated the marriage, then nothing will be obligatory upon the witnesses.
