Hadith 24467
٢٤٤٦٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن ليث عن مجاهد في قوله: ﴿يُؤْتِي الْحِكْمَةَ مَنْ يَشَاءُ﴾ [البقرة: ٢٦٩]، قال: ليست النبوة، ولكنه العلم والقرآن والفقه.
Hazrat Mujahid, regarding the Quranic verse "Yu'til hikmata man yashaa," states that Prophethood is not meant by this. Rather, knowledge, the Quran, and jurisprudence are meant.
