Hadith 24461
٢٤٤٦١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سعيد بن عبد العزيز التنوخي عن إسماعيل بن عبيد اللَّه بن (أبي) (١) المهاجر عن عبد الرحمن بن غنم الأشعري قال: قال عمر: "ويل لديان أهل الأرض من ديان أهل السماء يوم (يلقونه) (٢) إلا من أمَّ العدل وقضى بالحق، ولم يقض لهوى ولا قرابة، ولا لرغبة ولا لرهبة، وجعل كتاب اللَّه مرآة بين عينيه". (٣)
Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the ruler of the earth will be destroyed before the Ruler of the heavens on the day when the earthly ruler meets the Ruler above. Except for that ruler who judged with justice and fairness, and was not overcome by desire, kinship, inclination, or fear, and who kept the Book of Allah as a mirror before his eyes.
