Hadith 24418
٢٤٤١٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معتمر عن أبيه قال: سئل طاوس عن ⦗٤٩٨⦘ (السلم في) (١) (العرض) (٢) أو قال: العروض، قال: لا بأس، وسئل عن السلم في الحرير، فقال: لا أدري ما الحرير.
It is narrated from Hazrat Mu'tamir that Hazrat Tawus was asked about the sale of goods by Salam, so he said: There is no harm. And when he was asked about the sale of silk by Salam, he said: I do not know what silk is (what its ruling is, what its status is).
