Hadith 24355
٢٤٣٥٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن (شبيب) (١) ابن غرقدة قال: شهدت شريحا أجاز شهادة زوج لامرأته، فقيل له: إنه زوج، فقال: ومن يشهد للمرأة إلا زوجها؟.
Hazrat Shabeeb narrates that I was present in the service of Hazrat Shurayh when he accepted the testimony of a husband in favor of his wife. It was said to him that this is her husband. He replied: Who else, besides the husband, will testify in favor of the wife?
