Hadith 2425
٢٤٢٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن الأسود قال: كان عمر إذا افتتح الصلاة رفع صوته يسمعنا (يقول) (١): سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك، وتبارك اسمك، وتعالى جدك، ولا إله غيرك] (٢) (٣).
Hazrat Aswad narrates that when Hazrat Umar would begin the prayer, he would recite these words aloud for us to hear: O Allah, You are Pure and all praise is for You. Your name is blessed, Your majesty is exalted, and there is no deity except You.
