Hadith 24086
٢٤٠٨٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عمرو عن طاوس عن ⦗٤١٥⦘ حجر (المدري) (١) عن زيد بن ثابت أن النبي ﷺ جعل العمرى للوارث (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) declared the 'Umari property' to belong to the heirs. (Umari means that a person gives his house to someone, and then when the giver passes away, the house returns to his heirs. In the age of ignorance, people used to do this.)
