Hadith 2408
٢٤٠٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا هشيم قال: أخبرنا حصين عن أبي وائل عن الأسود بن يزيد قال: رأيت عمر بن الخطاب افتتح الصلاة فكبر، ثم قال: سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك، وتبارك اسمك، وتعالى جدك، ولا إله غيرك (١).
Hazrat Aswad bin Yazid says that I saw Hazrat Umar bin Khattab, when he began the prayer, he said Allahu Akbar. Then he said these words: O Allah, You are pure and all praise is for You. Your name is blessed, Your majesty is exalted, and there is no deity except You.
