Hadith 23965
٢٣٩٦٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن سماك عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عمر قال: كنت أبيع الذهب بالفضة والفضة بالذهب، فأتيت ⦗٣٨٥⦘ النبي ﷺ (١) فسألته فقال: "إذا (بايعت) (٢) صاحبك فلا تفارقه وبينك وبينه لبس" (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that I used to trade gold for silver and silver for gold. I presented myself before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked him about this matter. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you trade with your companion, do not separate from him as long as there is any uncertainty between you.
