Hadith 23945
٢٣٩٤٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن نمير قال: حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق عن يزيد (بن) (١) عبد اللَّه (بن) (٢) قسيط عن عطاء بن يسار عن أبي سعيد قال: قسم فينا رسول اللَّه ﷺ طعاما من التمر (مختلفا) (٣) بعضه أفضل من بعض، فذهبنا (نتزايد فيه) (٤) بيننا، فنهانا رسول اللَّه ﷺ (٥) إلا كيلا بكيل (٦).
Hazrat Abu Saeed narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) distributed different types of dates among us, some of which were superior to others. We began to give each other more or less, so the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade us from this and instructed us to sell in equal measure.
