Hadith 23849
٢٣٨٤٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد السلام عن إسماعيل بن عبد الملك أن امرأة ماتت وتركت (ولدا صغيرا) (١) وجارية، فأراد الأب أن يشتري الجارية، فقال سعيد: قومها في السوق قيمة، ثم أشهد على نفسك بثمنها، ثم اصنع (بها) (٢) ما بدا لك.
It is narrated from Ismail that a woman passed away, leaving behind a small child and a slave-girl. Her father intended to purchase the slave-girl. Hazrat Saeed said: Go to the market and determine her price, then appoint witnesses over the payment, and after that, do with her as you wish.
