Hadith 23764
٢٣٧٦٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن سماك عن ثعلبة بن الحكم قال: أصبنا غنما للعدو فانتهبناها (١) فأمر النبي ﷺ بالقدور فأكفئت ⦗٣٣١⦘ وقال: "لا تحل النهبة" (٢).
Hazrat Thalabah bin Hakam narrates that we found some goats belonging to the enemy, so we took them (plundered them). The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered the pots to be overturned, so we overturned the pots. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Plunder is not permissible.
