Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Sirin was asked about mudarabah: when there is profit, then loss, then profit, then loss? He replied that the calculation will be on the principal amount first, unless both of them had already taken possession of the wealth before that, or else the calculation will be with possession.
