Hadith 23702
٢٣٧٠٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا (همام) (١) بن يحيى عن قتادة عن يزيد الرشك عن القاسم، قال: قلت لسعيد بن المسيب: ما ترى (في) (٢) كسب (القسام) (٣)؟ فكرهه، قلت: إني أعمل فيه حتى (يعرق) (٤) جبيني، فلم يرخص لي فيه.
Hazrat Qasim says that I asked Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib: What is your opinion regarding the wage of the one who distributes (inheritance, etc.)? He disliked it. I said that I distribute to the extent that sweat appears on my forehead, but he did not grant me any leniency or permission in this matter. Hazrat Qatadah says that Hasan used to dislike its earnings. Hazrat Ibn Sirin says that if it is not impure, then I do not know what it is.
