Hadith 23664
٢٣٦٦٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا سهل بن يوسف عن التيمي عن الحسن بن مسلم قال: كتب عمر بن عبد العزيز إلى أهل المدينة و (إلى) (١) أهل مكة (أو إحداهما) (٢) فنهاهم عن مقاطعة المكاتبين.
Hazrat Hasan bin Muslim narrates that Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz wrote to the people of Madinah or the people of Makkah or to one of these two, forbidding them from separating from their mukatabs, and the narrator, may Allah have mercy on him, states that Hazrat Tawus did not consider there to be any harm in this.
