It is narrated from Hazrat Sa’d that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) took the pledge of allegiance from the women, a woman stood up as if she was from the tribe of Mudar, and said, “O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Everything is for our fathers, husbands, and sons; what is lawful for us from these wealths?” The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Every moist thing (which cannot be stored), eat it and also give it as a gift.”
