٢٣٣٦٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يعلى عن الحارث (بن عمير) (١) عن يحيى بن سعيد قال: كتب عمر إلى أهل العراق: إن لنا هدايا دهاقيننا (٢).
Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote to the people of Iraq: The gifts of our chiefs and landlords are for us (that is, send them to us and do not keep them with yourselves).
