Hadith 23354
٢٣٣٥٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن معاذ بن العلاء عن أبيه عن جده قال: خطب علي بالكوفة وبيده قارورة (فقال) (١): (ما) (٢) (أصبت) (٣) بها منذ ⦗٢١٣⦘ دخلتها إلا (هذه) (٤) أهداها إلي دهقان (٥).
Hazrat Mu'adh bin Alaa narrates from his father and grandfather that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) delivered a sermon in Kufa and there was a bottle in his hand. He (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Since I became the caliph, I have received only this one gift, which a peasant has sent to me.
