٢٣٣ - حدثنا وكيع بن الجراح عن الربيع بن سليم عن (أبي لبيد) (١) قال: رأيت عليا (أتى) (٢) الغيط على بغلة له، وعليه (إزار ورداء) (٣) وعمامة وخفان، فرأيته بال، ثم توضأ، فحسر العمامة، فرأيت رأسه مثل راحتي، عليه مثل خط الأصابع من الشعر، فمسح برأسه، ثم مسح على خفيه (٤).
Hazrat Abu Lubaid says that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) rode his mule to relieve himself. At that time, he was wearing an izar, a sheet, a turban, and two socks. He urinated, then performed ablution and removed his turban. I saw that his head was like my palm, with hair like the lines on a finger. He first wiped over his head, then over his socks.
