Hadith 2321
٢٣٢١ - حدثنا (أبو) (١) داود عن محمد بن (سليم) (٢) عن قتادة عن سعيد بن المسيب في القوم ينتهون إلى المسجد وقد (صلي) (٣) فيه قال: يؤذنون ويقيمون. - وقال قتادة: لا يأتيك من شهادة أن لا إله إلا اللَّه، وأن محمدا رسول اللَّه إلا خير.
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib says that if some people go to the mosque and the prayer has already been performed there, then they should also give the adhan and say the iqamah. Hazrat Qatadah says that the declaration of the oneness of Allah and the prophethood of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) will surely bring goodness.
