Hadith 23157
٢٣١٥٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معن بن عيسى عن ابن أبي ذئب عن الزهري قال: (سألته) (١) عن حكومة اليهود والنصارى إذا تحاكموا إلينا، (فقال) (٢): أحكم بينهم بحكمك في المسلمين، لا يجوز بينهم إلا ما يجوز بين (المسلمين) (٣).
Hazrat Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked how judgment should be passed between Jews and Christians when they bring their cases to us? He (may Allah have mercy on him) replied: Judge between them as you judge among Muslims; those matters are permissible among them which are permissible among Muslims.
