Hadith 23069
٢٣٠٦٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن جابر عن القاسم عن (ابن) (١) أبزى عن علي قال: الرجل أحق بهبته ما لم يثب منها (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that a person has the most right to his gift as long as he has not received anything in exchange for it. (That is, if the gifted item is to be returned, it is better to return it to the giver.)
