Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) did not consider there to be any harm in the sale of animals by salam, provided that a person receives less than the stipulated amount, and even more in terms of age, as long as both the buyer and the seller are satisfied.
