Hadith 22864
٢٢٨٦٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن يزيد عن أبي العلاء عن قتادة أن عمر بن الخطاب وزيد بن ثابت قالا: إذا مات المكاتب وله مال فهو لمواليه، وليس لولده شيء (١).
Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) say that if a mukatab dies leaving behind wealth, that wealth will go to the master; his children will not receive anything.
