٢٢٧٧٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع (أن) (١) حسن بن صالح وسفيان وابن أبي ليلى كانوا يقولون: إذا مات وعليه دين حل ما عليه، فيضرب المولى مع الغرماء بجميع المكاتبة.
Hasan, Hazrat Sufyan, and Hazrat Ibn Abi Laila (may Allah have mercy on them) state that if a slave passes away and there is still debt upon him, then whatever was upon him will become immediately due, and his master will include all the property in the contract of manumission along with the creditors.
