Hadith 22590
٢٢٥٩٠ - [حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن سعيد بن أبي عروبة عن يعلى بن (١) حكيم عن سليمان بن يسار عن رافع بن خديج قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "من كانت له أرض فليزرعها أو ليزرعها أخاه، ولا (يكريها) (٢) بثلث ولا (بربع، ولا) (٣) بطعام مسمى" (٤)] (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever has land should cultivate it himself, or else leave it for his brother; he should not rent out the land for a share of one-third or one-fourth, nor for a fixed amount of wheat.
