Hadith 22509
٢٢٥٠٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن علية وابن أبي زائدة عن ابن عون عن القاسم، قال: لولا أن ابن عمر كره (الثنيا) (١) وكان عندنا مرضيًا (٢) ما رأينا بذلك بأسًا (٣).
Hazrat Qasim (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) did not dislike separating some unspecified portion, and if it were up to our own choice, then we would not see any harm in it. Ibn 'Alyah, the narrator, adds that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) used to say: I will not sell this particular tree, I will not sell this particular tree.
