Hadith 22466
٢٢٤٦٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن علقمة بن مرثد عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى عن أبي الدرداء، أن رجلين اختصما إليه في دابة، فأقام كل واحد (منهما) (١) البينة أنها له، [[فقضى به بينهما، وقال: ما كان أحوجكما إلى مثل سلسلة بني إسرائيل (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Laila that two men, disputing over an animal, came to Hazrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him), and one of them presented witnesses that it belonged to him. He (may Allah be pleased with him) decided the matter for both of them and said: Neither of you was more in need, like the chain of the Children of Israel.
