Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Sirin was asked: If a person passes away and he has a debt for a fixed period? He replied: When his heirs assure the creditor of payment, then the same period will apply as was fixed by the deceased. Hasan says that when the debtor dies, the debt must be paid immediately.
