Hadith 22266
٢٢٢٦٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن (حرام) (١) بن سعد بن محيصة أن أباه سأل النبي ﷺ عن كسب الحجام، فنهاه عنه فلم يزل يكلمه حتى قال: أعلفه ناضحك، أو أطعمه رقيقك (٢).
The father of Hazrat Haram bin Sa’d bin Muhiṣah (may Allah have mercy on him) asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the earnings of a cupper. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade it. He kept conversing with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Feed a camel with that money or feed a slave.
