٢٢١٤٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الأعلى بن عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري في الرجل يفلس فيعتقه سيده: أن عتقه جائز ويضمن السيد ثمنه.
Hazrat Imam Zuhri, may Allah have mercy on him, says regarding the slave who becomes destitute and his master sets him free, that setting him free is permissible and the master will be responsible for his price.
