Hadith 21958
٢١٩٥٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن الأوزاعي عن الزهري قال: مضت السنة أن تجوز شهادة النساء فيما لا يطلع عليه غيرهن من ولادات النساء (و) (١) عيوبهن، وتجوز شهادة القابلة وحدها في الاستهلال، وامرأتان فيما سوى ذلك (٢).
Hazrat Zuhri says that in matters where men cannot be informed, the testimony of women is valid, such as childbirth among women and women's defects, etc. Regarding whether a newborn baby has breathed, only the testimony of the midwife and two other women with her will be valid.
