Hadith 21952
٢١٩٥٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أسباط بن محمد عن مطرف عن الشعبي في رجل أعتق ثلث عبده، قال: يسعى له في الثلثين ولا يضمن (لبقيته) (١).
Hazrat Sha'bi says that if a man frees one third of his slave, he should strive for the freedom of the remaining two thirds; he will not be responsible for the one third.
