Hadith 21884
٢١٨٨٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن سفيان عن منصور عن إبراهيم في رجل اشترى من رجل جارية فنقد بعض ثمنها وأمسكها البائع بالبقية فماتت، قال: يرد على المشتري ما أخذ، وهي من مال البائع.
Hazrat Mansur narrates that a man bought a slave-girl from someone; he paid part of the price in cash and left the remainder with the seller as a deposit for goods. Then the slave-girl passed away. Regarding this, Ibrahim said that the amount taken from the buyer should be returned to him, and the loss will be borne from the seller’s goods.
