Hadith 21843
٢١٨٤٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن فضيل عن أبيه عن أبي حازم عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "الحنطة بالحنطة، والشعير بالشعير، يدًا بيد كيلا بكيل وزنا بوزن (لا بأس) (١) فمن زاد واستزاد فقد أربى إلا ما اختلفت ألوانه" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no harm in exchanging wheat for wheat, barley for barley, with immediate payment, in equal measure and equal weight; whoever gives more has engaged in usury. However, if the colors of the items differ, then there is no harm in any increase or decrease.
