Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Sulayman bin Yasar says that I sought permission to meet Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). She asked, "Is it Sulayman?" I replied, "Yes, I am Sulayman." Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) asked, "Has the remainder of the contract of Kitabah owed to your masters been paid off by you?" I said, "Yes, a little is left." She said, "Then you may come in, because as long as even a little of the contract of Kitabah remains upon you, you are still a slave."
