Hadith 21575
٢١٥٧٥ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن منصور عن إبراهيم عن علقمة قال: جاء رجل إلى عبد اللَّه فقال: إن جاريتي أرضعت (ابني) (١) (أفأبيعها) (٢) قال: فقال عبد اللَّه: لوددت أنه أخرجها إلى السوق فقال: من يشتري مني أم ولدي (فكأنه) (٣) كرهه (٤).
Hazrat Alqamah narrates that a man asked Hazrat Abdullah, "My slave woman has breastfed my son. Can I sell this slave woman?" Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) expressed displeasure at this and said, "How strange it would be that you take her to the market and call out, 'Who will buy the mother of my child from me?'"
