Hadith 21531
٢١٥٣١ - حدثنا وكيع قال: (نا) (١) شعبة عن (أبي) (٢) عمران الجوني قال: سمعت جندب البجلي يقول: كنا نغزو مع أصحاب رسول اللَّه ﷺ ونحن نفعل كما ⦗٣٣٢⦘ يفعلون، (فنأكل) (٣) من الثمرة، و (نأخذ) (٤) (العلج) (٥)، فيدلنا من القرية إلى القرية من غير أن (نشاركهم) (٦) في بيوتهم (٧).
Hazrat Jundub Bajli says that we used to perform jihad with the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), whatever they did, we also did. We used to eat fruit and hire slaves for the journey, who would take us from one village to another, but we did not share their homes with them.
