٢١١١٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن حماد بن سلمة عن محمد بن زياد قال: مر ابن عمر بأبي وهو يسم وسم (قدامة) (١) بن (مظعون) (٢)، فقال ابن عمر: لا ⦗٢٣١⦘ (تلحم) (٣) لا (تلحم) (٤) (٥).
Muhammad bin Ziyad narrates that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) passed by my father while he was branding an animal with the mark of Qudamah bin Maz'un. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: Do not brand so forcefully that it reaches the flesh. Do not brand so forcefully that it reaches the flesh.
